Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)

StartDate : ASAP

Available Shifts : 8 D

Pay Rate : $2079.90 - $2279.04

Ultrasound Tech needed asap

Under the direction of Radiology leadership the Ultrasound tech performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the use of ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or pathology. Must use various ultrasound modalities dependent on the type of anatomy being examined. Must become proficient in recognizing cross-sectional anatomy and understanding of related technology. Demonstrates favorable guest relations and continues to promote values of the hospital in daily work performance. May also perform other related patient care duties.

Locals Accepted

Dysrhythmia exam not required

Minimum 2 years of experience required

Certs / Licenses Required : RDMS ABD or OB / GYN, BLS

Techs will assist with procedures (paras, thoras, thyroid bipsies) - need experience in these areas

Preferred : ACLS, Certified in ultrasonic technology by the American Registry of Diagnotic Medical Sonographers.
