Description :

This is a backfill contract position for an RN specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry.

The assignment duration is 13 weeks with shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

No on-call duties are required for this role.

The unit consists of 30 beds and has a staffing ratio of 1 : 5.

The team includes a Charge Nurse, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians.

Key medical equipment utilized in this unit includes vital sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and telehealth technologies.

Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred.

Typical procedures performed include NIH Stroke assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care management.

The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and self-motivated.

Dress code consists of navy scrubs, with specific attire prohibiting hoop nose piercings.
