How youll contribute :
A Phlebotomist who excels in this role :
Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques
Maintains equipment and medical supplies
Labels processes and delivers specimens for testing
Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives including interviewing and screening donors
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional requirements include :
Completion of an approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy preferred
Certification from ASCP or NHA preferred
Formal Phlebotomy training
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training / Handle with Care within 30 days
