Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - VIR Job Details : Work 4x10 hour shifts with call requirements during weekdays and weekends Provide nursing care for patients under mild sedation in critical care settings Handle cases including ultrasound, CT, and interventional radiology procedures Use EPIC charting system for documentation Experience and skills in interventional radiology area required for successful placement Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients and document patient responses to nursing interventions Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other service providers Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals for patient care needs Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required Current BLS certification required upon hire ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire Must complete orientation and function independently in specialty area Facility : This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and specialized care.
