Job Summary :
This Registered Nurse position requires a minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum care. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in an acute care hospital setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications are required. Floating between similar units is expected.

Responsibilities :
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum units.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Managing patient care, including case management and potentially hospice care (depending on unit needs).
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic).
- Participating in the orientation of new team members.
Required Skills & Certifications :
