Licensed Physician Advisor

A company is looking for a Physician Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Review payor peer-to-peer cases and evaluate documentation for authorization requests

Engage with payor medical directors to discuss authorization status and provide case analysis

Serve as a clinical resource for medical and case management staff regarding documentation and utilization issues

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical licensure

3+ years of clinical experience post-residency completion

Strong clinical knowledge across multiple clinical areas

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in basic computer skills
