Position Overview :

As our Assembly and Test Technician, you will assemble, test, inspect, clean and package electromechanical systems and sub systems, such as control rod drive mechanisms, in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

Your Day to Day as an Assembly & Test Technician :

• Assemble and test control rod drive mechanisms and sub-assembly components, including AC stators and DC coils.
• Conduct assembly and test operations on development products according to detailed engineering instructions, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Inspect, clean, and package products ready for shipment, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
• Perform various electrical measurements, including resistance, insulation resistance, and dielectric strength tests on AC / DC circuits.
• Document measurements and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Perform precision mechanical adjustments to complex, high-value components to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Maintain assembly and test facility equipment, ensuring that all tools and machinery are in good working condition and properly calibrated.
• Regularly conduct preventative maintenance checks to avoid disruptions in production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Assembly and Test facility to meet MIL-STD-767 requirements, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
• Perform all other duties as assigned, which may include special projects or tasks that align with the department's objectives.

What We Offer :

Pay : $54,000 - $80,000

The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $54,000 and $80,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department / team performance, and other market factors.
