Unaccompanied Housing Management
This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing (UH) at NCBC Gulfport. The incumbent will provide on-site management for assigned buildings. Responsibilities include escorting new residents to their unit or room, conducting new resident visits to review assigned furnishings and equipment inventory, and helping orient residents to their new accommodations. The incumbent will also manage the check-out of cleaning equipment to residents, conduct daily facility assessments, and verify that vacant or unassigned units are ready for occupancy. Additionally, the incumbent will monitor the performance of custodial contractors, conduct room inspection visits, report any signs of property damage or violation of UH rules, and serve as an escort for non-resident personnel. The incumbent will also coordinate resident trouble calls, perform minor preventive maintenance, conduct RA facility training, and maintain control of FF&E in vacant or unassigned units. The position requires providing quality customer service for all internal and external customers, presenting a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.

Specialized experience must demonstrate one full year of graduate level education or specialized experience or a combination of education and experience. The incumbent must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications, possess basic math and reading skills, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Knowledgeable in minor maintenance, such as changing clock batteries, changing light bulbs, lubricating locks and hinges, tightening furnishings hardware and screws, and minor furnishings repairs, is required.
Key requirements include being a US Citizen, males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service, and selectee must be determined suitable for federal employment.
