Job description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with one Saturday per month negotiable. Candidates must have at least 2 years post-residency experience, including direct care of newborns, and prior community health center experience is required. Proficiency with Centricity EMR is preferred. Job Details Location : Washington Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 80 days Provider Type Needed : Family Practice Physician Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM; one Saturday per month (negotiable) Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with emphasis on newborn and infant care Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions within a community health center setting Perform routine physical exams, preventive care, and health screenings Prescribe medications and develop patient-centered treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate patient records using Centricity EMR Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements Additional Information Must be board certified in Family Medicine Active Washington state medical license required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Minimum 2 years out of residency with direct experience treating newborns Prior experience in a community health center is mandatory Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
