The Sales Rep works with clients in identifying their needs in order to promote and sell appropriate company products and services
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets monthly sales goals
- Assists in Managing and growing existing accounts through daily telephone cold calling & following up on prior calls
- Assists account managers within their territories
- Develops and maintains effective professional relationships with clients.
- Assists, Educates and upsells clients company products and services, as well as occasional visits as needed.
- Identifies revenue opportunities through communications, programs and other activities as needed
- Builds up detailed knowledge about the company's products
- Tracks and communicates progress of metrics
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
- Provides professional, knowledgeable, courteous customer service
- Meets customer needs, offers options, resolves problems and follows up with customers
- Ensures full customer satisfaction without unnecessarily referring customers to other staff members
- May Travel
- Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and / or other quality system requirements in their department
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 2 years of experience in customer service and data manipulation; within a warehouse environment preferredEmail and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledgeWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems preferredMust be able to work in fast-paced team environment with general supervisionProficient English abilities requiredAbility to follow documented procedures, standards and policiesFamiliarity with continuous improvement methods preferredExcellent time-management skills
