Process Technician-Aiken, SC (7 : 00PM-7 : 15AM)

A Day In The Life

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To support, troubleshoot, set-up, process, and repair molding equipment and or tooling to ensure manufacturing meets all customer schedules.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Retrieve prepared molds and installs into molding presses.
• Secure mold to platen and sets up appropriate mold heating and cooling.
• Proficiently starts up molds using decoupled / scientific molding practices.
• Inspect sample parts for surface and dimensional defects
• Accurately document process parameters
• Remove molds from the press and stage for disassembly.
• Troubleshoot and correct process problems at the press.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
