Travel EP Tech / EP Lab Tech - $2,489 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title : Electrophysiology Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : CVT / EP TECH Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : 1 year preferred License : South Carolina license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - National Certifications : ARRT / CCI Description : Candidates will work 5 days per week, from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Types of cases include diagnostic catheterizations for adults, permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, conduction studies, and the insertion / programming of AICDs. On-call requirements are not needed for this position. Weekend work is not required. Travelers may float to similar units if necessary. First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome to apply. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Traveler must be able to demonstrate accurate monitoring and maintain equipment. Candidates must have experience in cardiac ablation, hemodynamic monitoring, and the insertion of pacemakers. Knowledge in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is essential. Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred. All required certifications must be active prior to the start date. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season.
