BJC Medical Group is seeking a BC / BE GI Physician to join our established team based at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL , just 15 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri.

Practice Overview :
Beautiful and spacious clinic on the campus of Alton Memorial Hospital’s Digestive Health Center
4 endoscopy suites at Alton Memorial Hospital with room to staff and run a fifth room, volume permitting
Employed position with ample support and mentorship available
APP support in the clinic and with inpatient rounding
Typically 3.5 days in the lab and 1 day of clinic per week
- Ability to be busy right away as group is scheduled out 6 months
- Ability to do advanced GI, ERCP and EUS

Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
