POSITION OVERVIEW  Job Title :

• L1 Lighting Technician   Department / Team : Orlando Production  Location : Orlando, FL   Type : Seasonal full-time Travel Requirements (if applicable) : Traveling to events when needed    2.
• ROLE SUMMARY  This role focuses on delivering professional lighting for live events by setting up, programming, and operating various lighting systems, including conventional, LED, and moving fixtures.
• The technician will collaborate with production teams to design and execute show looks, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and ensure all setups are clean and visually polished.
• They will also support other technical needs as required while working flexible schedules to meet event demands.    3.
• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  -Set up, test, and operate all assigned lighting equipment including conventional fixtures, LED fixtures, and moving lights.   -Ensure dimmer beach / power distribution is properly set up.   -Be able to program and run shows on Grand MA architecture.   -Collaborate with event producers, dance faculty, and production management to create show looks and scenes upon request.   -Maintain and repair lighting equipment in the field, or when this is not possible ensure that production management is informed of defunct equipment in a timely manner.   -Provide on-site or remote technical support to internal teams as needed.   -Ensure that all lighting elements are installed with an eye to detail and presentation, neat cable runs, and properly dressed equipment are a necessity.   -Support other elements of the technical team as directed by production management.  4.
