Job Description : RN - MS / Tele (Medical-Surgical / Telemetry)

Location : Macungie, Pennsylvania

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS / Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for patients in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, deliver exceptional nursing care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Patient Monitoring and Care : Provide care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions, including continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
• Collaborative Care Planning : Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Medication Administration : Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols and monitor for adverse effects.
• Documentation and Compliance : Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system in accordance with hospital policies.
• Weekend and Rotational Shifts : Participate in every other weekend coverage and adhere to scheduled 12-hour day shifts to meet patient and unit needs.

Job Requirements :

Active and valid Pennsylvania RN license required at the time of submission.

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit.

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM.
