Job descriptionPharmacy Required Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice Graduate of accredited Pharmacy program; eligible for Pharmacist licensure in state of practice. Residency preferred. Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice Required or eligible for license. Board Certification preferred. PRN Pharmacist
HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist acts as liaison between allied health professionals and registered nurses in providing accurate and rational drug therapy to patients upon receipt of an allied health professional's order. Reviews order for dosing accuracy, drug selection, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness. Serves as a medical team consultant by participating in multidisciplinary rounds, committees, and workgroups. Provides drug information to allied health professionals, nurses, patients, and the general public.
