Job descriptionExperience : Minimum of 2 years of pipe welding experience in industrial, shipyard, or construction environments. Certifications : AWS or ASME welding certifications preferred (or ability to pass company welding tests). Skills : Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements : Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces or at heights. Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty, etc.).
Responsibilities :
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Set up, assemble, and weld pipes using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, etc.).
- Perform pipe fitting and fabrication to precise specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and tests to ensure weld quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
