We’re seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a large workforce with precision and passion. Key Responsibilities Include :
- Lead all aspects of daily facility operations with primary focus on safety, quality, and production
- Oversee and maintain robust safety and quality programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency
- Direct demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory control activities
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure 100% inventory accuracy, manage quality systems, and oversee maintenance programs
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate management team to achieve facility objectives
- Lead and motivate both full-time and temporary workforce to meet performance goals
- Serve as primary point of contact for key customer, managing ongoing communication and performance reporting
- Ensure facility operations remain within budget while maximizing profitability
- Develop and implement staffing guidelines to effectively manage labor costs
- Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures, and expectations
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to foster professional growth and development among team members
Experience & Qualifications :
7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing management rolProven knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and production schedulingHands-on experience with safety programs (OSHA, Workers' Compensation, etc.)Strong background in quality assurance management, including RCA, CAPA, ISO, AIB, and SQF standardsCertified or experienced in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)Customer-facing experience managing quality and production performance reportingExperience leading a workforce that includes temporary employeesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in WMS, MS Office, email systems, intranet, and file managementBilingual (English / Spanish) a plusAbility to work flexible hours with minimal travel as requiredKEY BENEFITS INCLUDE :
