Position Overview

We're seeking a Tax Manager (CPA) with approximately 5-7 years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns, maintaining bookkeeping records, and providing client-facing service.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Chicago office. It is ideal for someone who can independently manage a book of clients, direct the end-to-end compliance process, and run point on tax engagements with minimal oversight.

This role will be primarily responsible for :

• Reviewing tax returns prepared by administrative staff and accountants (1040, Schedule C, 1065, 1120, 990, 1041, and others)
• Signing and submitting accurate returns and reports to the IRS and state departments of revenue
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through questions about the results of prepared returns and offering recommendations for future action items
