Sr. Real Estate Transaction Attorney - Santa Monica, CA
A boutique coastal California law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Transaction Attorney to join its growing real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters. This role offers meaningful client interaction, hands-on responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate deals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the California Bar in good standing6+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactionsStrong experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and closing materialsFamiliarity with title, survey, zoning, and due diligence reviewExcellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage transactions independently from contract through closingStrong communication skills and client-focused approachResponsibilities
Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financingDraft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, commercial leases, amendments, and related documents1800 Billable hour minimumConduct and manage due diligence, including review of title, survey, zoning, and environmental mattersCoordinate closings with clients, lenders, brokers, and opposing counselAdvise clients on real estate risk management, deal structure, and strategic considerationsMaintain organized files and manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyBuild and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality workFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
