Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in lewiston, Maine.

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Days)

Location : Lewiston, ME

Start Date : October 27, 2025

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Day Shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours : 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess and monitor patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
  • Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as ordered.
  • Deliver direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
  • Accurately document all nursing care, patient observations, and interventions in the EMR system.

    • Requirements :

  • Licensure : Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Maine (or Compact license).
  • Certifications :

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency or critical care settings.

  • Previous experience in acute care facilities of similar size preferred.
  • EMR Experience : EPIC (preferred).
  • Must not be a former employee of the facility.
  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the work location.
