Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available in the Chilhowee, Missouri area for the upcoming school year. This contract position supports a caseload of approximately 25-26 students receiving special education services.

Qualifications and Experience :

Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education laws
Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff
Skilled in adapting instruction to meet individual student needs
Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff

Location :

Chilhowee, Missouri

Responsibilities include :

Developing and implementing IEPs for assigned students

Delivering specialized instruction tailored to each student's learning profile

Monitoring progress and documenting student growth

Participating in team meetings and parent conferences

Supporting positive behavior interventions and classroom management strategies

Collaborating to modify general education curriculum as needed
