Editorial Producer, Zappos

Zappos is seeking an experienced Producer to manage editorial photo and video shoots, a key role in the creation of brand-burnishing content to enhance Zappos’s reputation with customers. The Editorial Producer will partner closely with art directors, stylists, photographers, and cross-functional partners in buying and marketing to bring the brand’s creative vision to life. The position requires excellent collaboration, strong project management skills, and established industry relationships, as well as a quick, creative approach to problem solving.

Key job responsibilities

• Plan and execute photo / video shoots both on location around the U.S. and in our Las Vegas and Madison, WI, studios
• Manage production budgets for optimal resource allocation
• Create detailed shot lists and production schedules in collaboration with art directors and photographers
• Source diverse talent, including models and hair / makeup artists
• Scout and secure shooting locations that align with creative briefs; manage permitting process
• Oversee video production elements, including coordination with post-production teams
• Identify and manage outsourced production services when needed
• Ensure all deliverables meet timeline and budget requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -7+ years of production experience, with emphasis on fashion / footwear

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Experience in e-commerce or retail photography production, especially for fashion / footwear brands or multi-brand retailers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $124,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
