Ads Quality Team

The Ads Quality team helps Pinners move from inspiration to action by showing the right ad at the right time. We are at the core of the entire ads system optimizing for Pinner, Advertiser, and Pinterest value. Modules present a foundational shift in how we curate and personalize the ads experience for our users, providing them with meaningful content variety to help them opt into an experience that they will love. The output of this work will both be highly impactful (driving measurable value for Pinners and Advertisers) and highly visible (your launches will change the way the app looks and feels), and will critically contribute to our mission of helping hundreds of millions of people find the inspiration to create a life they love.

The ideal candidate has a passion for delighting our Pinners and strong intuition about what matters most to their experience. In addition, they must possess a deep understanding of the back‑end systems, have worked cross‑functionally with engineering, data teams, and PMM and understand the interaction effects of introducing qualitatively different content onto the page, and trade‑off dynamics of the ads marketplace.

What you’ll do

• Own the strategy and end‑to‑end execution of ads delivery systems - to improve the ads experience on the Pinterest platform. Own the vision and execution for both net‑new products and enhancements to existing capabilities.
• Define a multi‑quarter roadmap, align design and guardrails with partners, and drive execution so back‑end and user‑facing experiences work in concert to deliver measurable advertiser and Pinner outcomes. Serve as the single‑threaded owner for ads products, driving cross‑org dependency planning, experimentation, launch / GTM coordination, and feedback loops so back‑end systems and front‑end experiences land cohesively and at high quality.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, data science, design, research, PMM, sales, and policy / integrity teams to ensure both product‑market fit as well as compliance and durability for solutions that you will build.
• Build a comprehensive suite of ads solutions that enable advertisers to clearly express the outcomes that they are seeking to drive, forecast, and measure, empowering them to best align their budgets with the needs of their business.
