This high-volume, Level II Trauma Center setting offers strong physician support, diverse case acuity, and flexible scheduling for advanced practice providers.

Location : Fort Wayne, IN

Facilities :  Main & Children’s Hospital (Cross Credentialed)

Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine NP

Start Date : ASAP – Ongoing

Assignment Length : Long-term preferred (6+ months)

Shifts per Month : Flexible scheduling available

Credentialing : Streamlined for cross-coverage at both sites

Hospital Beds : 396 (combined)

ED Beds : 44

Trauma Designation : Level II Trauma Center

Acuity Level : High

Admission Rate : 33%

Schedule & Coverage

APP Shift Times :

8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM

12 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 PM

6 : 00 PM – 3 : 00 AM

APP Coverage : 27 Hours per Day

Physician Coverage : 38 Hours per Day

Candidate Requirements

Certification :   Certified Nurse Practitioner

Licensure : Active & Unrestricted Indiana State License & DEA

Experience : 2+ Years of Emergency Medicine or Acute Care experience preferred

Additional : ACLS, PALS preferred
