Job Title : CT Technologist Profession : CT Technologist Specialty : Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Rotating days / nights with weekend rotation Hours per Shift : 8, 10, 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years License : ARRT RT(R) Certifications : BLS Must-Have : 2 years of experience in X-ray ARRT certification in Radiology Experience performing C-arm scans in an operating room setting 2 years of experience in CT required Active BLS certification Willingness to complete AHAMN Net Study within 2 weeks of acceptance of offer Experience with C-arm cases Description : Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients. Ensures the production of quality diagnostic images. Operates equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines. Ensures the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes. Required to perform X-ray, CT, C-arm, and fluoroscopic imaging. Utilizes equipment in the department including EPIC for electronic medical records, and PACS for image viewing. Required skills include performing diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in C-arm cases is also essential. Must be able to float to other units and departments as needed. Orientations will include training on X-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT. Will not be scheduled alone until fully oriented in all modalities. All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color is gray. Cancellation policy allows client cancellations up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. Charting will be conducted using Epic. This position is within an acute care setting. The trauma level is 3.
