Job description

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician-Pediatrics in North Dakota.

Locum Tenens Physician

Position Type :

Specialty : Pediatrics

Location : North Dakota

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : 24-hour call, 7 days per month

Start Date : February 24, 2025

End Date : October 2025

Position Details :

Patient Population : Newborns and Pediatric Patients
Setting : Critical Access Hospital with Level II Nursery
Responsibilities :

Attend vaginal deliveries (if requested).

Attend scheduled and emergent C-Sections.

Admit / discharge newborns.

Provide care for pediatric patients.

Perform circumcisions.

Required Procedures : Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation / intubations / UVC, lumbar punctures.

EMR System : Meditech

Support Staff : Nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OBGYNs, respiratory therapists, local pediatricians for consultation.

Days Per Month : 7 days per month of 24-hour call.

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified / Board Eligible

Active North Dakota license

NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS certification

Clean background and malpractice history

Availability at the time of name clear
