About the Care Provider Position

The Care Provider provides services for a diverse population of Unaccompanied Children (UC) of all ages and genders. Responsible for the day-to-day care and guidance of the youth of the Maryville Unaccompanied Children program. Assists with the management of the living environment of the program and promotes the learning of desirable behavior patterns by youth in a safe and nurturing environment.

Essential Functions :

• Follows all Maryvilles policies and procedures as well as all standard operating procedures for the Unaccompanied Children Program;
• Provides for the basic needs of the Unaccompanied Children including but not limited to : nutrition hygiene clothing daily routines recreational activities laundry and education;
• Conducts oneself as a role model for the children / youth;
• Provides consistent line of sight supervision of youth;
• Provide safe transportation of child / youth to various scheduled activities;
• Completes all required logs forms and reports;
• Attends a minimum of 40 hours advanced training / workshops on an annual basis;
• Performs other duties / functions as requested by supervisory personnel.
