ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Serves customers by servicing, troubleshooting and installing Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Access Control Systems and Audio / Video Systems, meeting customer needs and expectations. Essential functions consist of the following but are not limited to :
Installing low voltage security systems in primarily commercial environments, construction environments and some residential environmentsTroubleshooting and testing networking issuesAssist with programming various systems directed by the CompanySetup support structures (i.e. ladders, racks)Terminating and installing end devices such as badge readers, mag locks, motion detectors, glass breaks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, etc.Installation and service of various Burglar Alarm systems directed by the CompanyInstallation and service of various CCTV systems directed by the CompanyInstallation and service of various Access Control Systems, including door hardware directed by the CompanyInstallation and service of various Audio / Visual systems directed by the CompanyPulling cables, wires, and other necessary preparation work to complete jobsAdaptable and trainable on various security systems, manufacturer specs, etc.Document job notes according to the Company’s Work Order policy, meeting or exceeding expectations and standardsHonest and thorough documentation of all paperwork is a requirement while maintaining Company Confidentiality policies and standardsMaintain positive attendance in accordance with jobs that are scheduled to be completedProvide friendly, knowledgeable and respectful customer serviceGeneral knowledge of electronics, components and devicesComply and follow all Safety Standards, Laws, and Regulations at all timesTakes initiative by communicating with Operations Department and ManagementMemorize and commit to the Company Mission, Values and VisionAbility to work the on-call rotationAbility to work in various temperatures and working conditionsOther assigned dutiesSkills / Qualifications / Work Conditions :
2-5 years experience in security, CCTV and Access Control installation and troubleshooting preferred. Commercial project experience is preferred.Must be able to pass a background and driver’s license (MVR) checkMust obtain and keep current Arizona Alarm Agent License and any required Licenses required by lawAbility to read, write and speak English proficientlyProfessional in appearance and presentation, abiding all Personal Protective Equipment standards and Company’s Uniform PolicyAbility to be an effective team member through strong productivity skills while assisting team membersMay be required to work overtime without advance notice and must be able to work a flexible scheduleGood organizational skillsMaintain Company property in good working order while taking precautions to ensure safety and security of the propertyFrequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrainOccasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawlingFrequent lifting and / or carry up to 65 pounds and push up to 100 poundsWill be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective equipment and devices and / or awareness of personal safety and safety of othersMust be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time including long periods of driving a motor vehicleProvide your own basic hand tools per the Company standardsPreferred Skills

Full time position, hours vary depending on the scheduled work. Generally, Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required but not typical, no restrictions and flexibility to be scheduled to work.PAY, BENEFITS & PERKS :
Hourly position and rate are based on experience. Experienced level starting at $27.00 per hour – position maxes out at $32.00 per hour with qualified, high-level skills.Bi-weekly, direct deposit every other Friday.Health insurance, Dental, Life & AD&D, Voluntary Accidental Insurance with Employer Contributions.Matching 401k plan – 100% match up to 4% to eligible full-time employees.

Shop is in Peoria with quick access to the 101, but ability to travel every day throughout the major Phoenix metropolitan area, with occasional traveling within other parts of Arizona and possibly out of state. We have active jobs all over the valley (North, West, South, East). Not scheduled in the shop every day but typically once a week for meetings and other tasks.OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Valid Arizona Driver's License and Reliable Source of TransportationPass a background check with the Company and with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration (full fingerprint / clearance check required for this trade)Pass a drug testProfessional attire and follow company uniform policyAbility to obtain Arizona Alarm Agent License within first 90-days of employment.
