Healthcare Setting : Endoscopy Unit
Shifts : Day (08 : 00 - 17 : 30) or Night (17 : 30 - 03 : 00), 5x8-hour shifts / week
Hours per Week : 40
On-call : Required
Estimated Weekly Salary : $2160 - $2210
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience
Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
Experience in a large teaching hospital or healthcare facility required
Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
AHA PALS certification preferred
EPIC charting experience within the past 2 years (required)
Proficient in starting IVs, assessing H+P, and post-procedure recovery for patients under conscious sedation
Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation medications during endoscopic procedures
Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle recommended; public transportation not accessible)
Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions accepted for Flu)
Endoscopy RN Responsibilities
Assist with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs
Start IVs and monitor patients receiving conscious sedation
Assess patient history and physical information pre- and post-procedure
Provide recovery care for post-procedure patients
Document patient care and procedures using EPIC EMR
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare facility policies and procedures
