American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Meridian, Idaho.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a 14-bed mixed Intensive Care Unit within an acute care hospital
  • Patient population includes medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU cases
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week
  • Floating required to Telemetry and other nearby locations (Meridian, Nampa, Boise)
  • Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
  • Role involves caring for a diverse ICU patient population including medical, surgical, and cardiac cases
  • Orientation includes 24 hours of training
  • No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be approved
  • Returning former permanent employees must be separated for at least one year prior to applying for a travel position
  • Scrubs or dress code may be required per hospital policy

    • Requirements

  • Active Idaho or compact RN license, active at time of consideration
  • Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an intensive care unit
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Must provide a valid driver's license
  • Submission of two professional references : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
  • Not eligible for local candidates within a 50-mile radius
