Job description

Job Functions :

  • Create instructional jobsite signage as needed
  • Create and disperse unit floor plans as needed
  • Assist with pre-inspection checks
  • Assist in communicating with clients to request, obtain and organize information regarding decisions of fixtures, materials, etc.
  • Assist with recording daily field labor reports
  • Assist with material deliveries, confirming quantities and organization of materials
  • Support Superintendent with directives as issues may arise
  • Assist with researching material purchases and delivery options
  • Generate reports, and track activities
  • Comply with all corporate Personnel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

  • Driver must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record with insurance carrier and where applicable drivers will comply with DOT Commercial Driver License regulations
  • When applicable, driver must have reliable means of transportation
  • Driver must maintain minimum insurance requirements on vehicles used in company business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, maintenance staff, service technicians, contractors, construction managers, builders, developers, property managers, property supervisors, homeowners, and residents.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Conflict resolution skills in working with co-workers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Skill in Microsoft Programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and current Windows operating system.
  • Aptitude to easily learn new software programs and computer applications.
  • Internet skills that include the ability to send and receive emails, conduct research, and collect data.
  • Ability to perform basic numerical computations.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately input data into records, timetables, spreadsheet, ledgers, and software applications.
  • Ability to prepare reports and complete specialized assignments on a timely basis.
  • Well developed organizational skills, detailed.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize service calls, coordinate service technicians, problem solve.
  • Ability to work effectively in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds.
  • Education Requirements / Experience :

  • High school diploma, GED, or 3 years related work experience.
  • Experience with computer software usage.
  • Experience working in the construction, mechanical service, or maintenance industry a plus.
  • Travel :

  • Assistant Project Managers must be able and willing to travel to project sites from time to time outside the Metro area including but not limited to adjoining states. This travel could be unscheduled due to on-site emergencies or necessary oversight of the project. Projects near and far require periodic visits by the project management team to conduct meetings, perform inspections and / or assist the on-site personnel.
