Kelly Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician for one of our top clients .

Duration : 1 Year

Type : Contract W2

Pay Rate : $21 / hr. (W2)

Shift Times : 8AM-4 : 30PM

Interview Process : Virtual

Educational Requirements :

BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related fields) is required.

Core Responsibilities :

Laboratory Work : This position involves working in a laboratory setting, conducting experiments, handling laboratory equipment and it is 100% site based. Routine research laboratory specific activities might be different base on the different CPD&D area recruiting focus

Technical Skills and previous experience

Lab Equipment and Techniques : This position requires familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.

Prior Lab Experience : 1 years+ prior relevant experience working in a research or manufacturing / engineering laboratory environment is preferred.

Nice to have

Experience with data entry and data management

Cell culture and aseptic technique

Experience preparing media recipes

Experience with microbiology

Safety and Compliance :

Adherence to Company Safety Protocols : Understands and follows EH&S standards. Use of safety procedures & appropriate PPE mandated. Compliance with laboratory safety procedures.

Soft Skills :

Communication and Collaboration : Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective documentation and communication of results, good organization skills, follow SOPs, and adhere to safety protocols, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
