Summary : This is a team position. A task request will come in, raise your hand if you have time to do it. Examples are writing social media posts to advertise a specific dog or litter, writing copy for a fundraiser, and writing blog posts on dog-related subjects.

Job Description

If you are enthusiastic about dogs and want to make a difference in hundreds of puppies' lives, we are looking for you. We need a copywriter who can connect with dog lovers through multiple media channels. In this role, you'll be part of a team responsible for create diverse content, from social media posts to writing copy for fundraising. The nature of the job occasionally requires irregular hours, however, as a part of a team, you are free to pass on the task to a teammate. The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills and creativity. Marketing experience is highly preferred.

Our Mission

At Path of Hope Rescue we save pregnant dogs and puppies from high kill shelters in the Southern United States.

Our Spokane, Washington based Rescue strives to decrease the euthanasia rate of high risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We do not have a kennel or building location and are 100% foster based. We currently have two paid employees and rely heavily on volunteers and fosters as we work to build out our paid staff roles.

Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked and becoming the number one dog destination in Spokane by capitalizing on Spokanes love of Rescue Dogs.

We are freedom loving American Patriots who love dogs, freedom and God.

No NGO status here, we dont take a single penny from the government. We are 100% funded by small donors and our adoption program, with a few small private grants here and there. We built this organization from the ground up in 2018 with $87.

We are built tough and believe that hard work pays off. Were about rolling up our sleeves and taking responsibility for our own actions. We dont do drama. There are no victims here and the system isnt out to get you, the only thing standing in your way is you and your attitude. We reward merit, not DEI or pronouns.
