Extended Care Teacher (NE) (Part-time) (2025-2026) - St. Joseph School, Cockeysville MD

The ʺAfter Careʺ program at St. Joseph School in Cockeysville is seeking staff for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will have experience working with students who are 4-13 years of age. Job responsibilities include supervising students during free play / outdoor play, planning age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and assisting with homework help. The hours are Monday-Friday, 3-6 pm. Half days are 11 : 45 - 6 pm. Please contact Kammeran Giggers at kgiggers@sjpray.org for information.

Essential Functions

Implement a program of instruction that adheres to the goals and objectives of the program.

Make observations, collect data, and give input to the Director.

Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees.

Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.

Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.

Position Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.

Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.

An appreciation for young students and their families.

Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.

Pay Range : $19, Hourly
