Position Summary :

For over 40 years, Drake Software LLC has designed and developed tax preparation solutions for tax professionals. We are looking for a seasoned Brand Manager to champion our brand identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager of Brand Marketing to lead our PR, marketing campaigns, webinars, events strategy, and brand management specifically tailored for our tax season marketing cycle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B technology branding, combining creative flair with strategic thinking. Ideally a background in Tax preparation or work in a similar regulated space would be ideal. This role requires a leader who can elevate our brand presence, strengthen brand equity, and contribute to the overall success of our company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Brand Strategy and Positioning :

  • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy aligned with the tax season marketing cycle and overall business goals.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all channels.

Marketing Campaign Development :

  • Lead the planning and execution of targeted B2B marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives and seasonality.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create compelling content, messaging, and visuals for campaigns.
  • Events Strategy :

  • Oversee the development of the strategic events plan, including virtual and in-person events, to maximize brand exposure, lead generation, and reinforce brand messaging during the tax season in collaboration with the events manager.
  • Brand Performance Analysis :

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to brand health, PR, marketing campaigns, webinars, and events during the tax season.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in brand positioning and marketing effectiveness.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand marketing, PR, and event strategy, preferably in the B2B software industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns, PR strategies, and brand management.
  • Experience in planning and executing webinars and events that have a proven track record of generating leads and customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with tax software or the tax industry is a plus.
