Patient Account Representative

Staffmark is hiring a Patient Account Representative for a well-established healthcare organization in Lafayette, LA. If you're looking to grow your career in a supportive, inclusive environment while helping patients manage their medical accounts, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience (medical office or patient records preferred)
• Basic knowledge of insurance types (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes, HCFA 1500, UB04 forms, HIPAA, and billing regulations
• Understanding of medical terminology and insurance benefits
