Physical Design Engineer

A company is looking for a Physical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for block level Synthesis, Place & Route, Timing Signoff, Physical Sign Off, LEC and Electrical Sign Off

Collaborate with the Microarchitecture / Logic Design team to drive PPA improvements and resolve design issues

Work with the Infrastructure / EDA / CAD team to optimize flows and methodology for best PPA outcomes

Required Qualifications

Experience in block level physical design tasks

Knowledge of floorplanning, IP placement, and timing constraints

Familiarity with UPF and physical design methodologies

Ability to work with vendor teams to meet milestone goals

Experience with data-driven approaches to optimize design flows
