Job descriptionPosition : Interventional Radiology Technologist (covering both vascular and neuro cases)Certifications Required : ARRT(R), BLS (ACLS preferred)Experience : Above average skills in neuroradiology procedures (cerebral, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, carotid stenting)Licensure : Must provide current radiation badge (agency provided)Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm, with call (1-2 shifts per week + every 3rd or 4th weekend, possible holiday call; 30-minute callback required)Scrubs : Provided by facilityTravel Requirements : Must live outside 50-mile radius; prior perm and travel staff restrictions applyTeam Submission : Travel teams must be submitted together in one emailCore Duties :Monitor and interpret hemodynamic dataMaintain sterile technique and prepare entry site for proceduresAssemble supplies and assist physicians in lab environmentMonitor and document patient ECG and blood pressure, communicate changes to physicianMaintain patient and unit confidentialityParticipate in on-call rotation, available for emergent procedures 24 / 7 as scheduledAssist in code situations and perform resuscitative measures under supervisionDocument procedures accurately and ensure correct billingUse and manage inventory control systemsParticipate in educational and in-service programsInstruct radiography students in clinical settingsMaintain specialization in neuroradiology and vascular IRPrepare and check patients prior to proceduresParticipate in departmental performance improvement and inventory management activities
