About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Capture Management to lead the strategic pursuit of high-value deals in the aerospace and defense sector, with a focus on supporting U.S. national security space clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a capture and proposal team, managing the full capture and proposal lifecycle, and developing and implementing capture strategies that align with client needs and competitive positioning. This role requires a proven track record in capturing and winning federal contracts, knowledge of federal procurement processes, and a background in aerospace, defense, or intelligence, with a preference for experience in spacecraft or space system development lifecycles.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Capture Management include interpreting solicitation requirements, leading post-submission reviews, and ensuring the development of compliant, compelling, and technically sound proposals. The role also involves maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders, conducting market research, and using data-driven insights for strategic analysis and competitive intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to influence across technical and executive teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A Top Secret / SCI clearance is required, and the candidate should be a U.S. citizen with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the space industry.
