Join a 13-week travel Physical Therapist (PT) assignment in Cleveland, GA, with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility. Cleveland is known for its charming small-town atmosphere, beautiful mountain views, and outdoor recreational activities, making it a great place to live and work.
As a PT, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents restore or maintain physical function after injury or illness. You will assess patients’ range of motion, pain levels, and mobility, then use exercises, stretches, and advanced rehab techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. PTs also focus on fall prevention, pain management, and preparing residents for safe discharge by recommending home modifications and safety equipment. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure comprehensive care and smooth recovery.
To qualify, you need a doctorate in physical therapy from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-approved program and a license from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
