Facilities Maintenance Technician

Description :

Vital Medical Transport is looking for EMTs and AEMTs for our new Knoxville division. We are looking for both Full-time and Part-time employees. We provide a competitive Compensation and Benefits Package.

EMTs and AEMTs provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured. EMTs respond to emergency calls, perform medical services and transport patients to medical facilities and continue to give care as necessary during the transport of the patient to the hospital.

EMTs must perform their duties in a calm, reassuring and efficient manner. They must be able to maintain their composure in extremely stressful situations in order to assess medical situations and perform emergency lifesaving procedures according to the methods in which they've received training.

• Must have a valid Tennessee EMT License
• Employment is conditional upon and subject to completion of an Employment Application, the completion of a favorable background check, Motor Vehicle Report check, Drug Screen and approval thereof by the Company, in its sole discretion. Please note that marijuana is illegal in the state of Tennessee. A positive test will void any offer of employment and will cause termination if tested at a later date.
