• Unit Size – 14 beds in ICU and 14 beds in PCCU
• Typically patient ratios – 2 - 3
• Types of patients you see – respiratory, ventilator patients, post surgical, cardiac, (do not see open heart)
• for Tele does the department have EKG or Monitor tech's? NO, do our own (nurses read their own strips)
• Does the department use any CNA's, LVN's or any additional auxiliary help We use Care Techs (1 on night shift & 2 on day shift)
