A local educational program seeks a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide classroom and behavioral support to students during temporary assignments. This role ensures consistent instructional support and a safe, engaging learning environment in the absence of regular staff.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Support instructional delivery for individual students and small groups

Reinforce classroom lessons and assist with daily educational activities

Supervise students during breaks, transitions, and classroom activities

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior

Assist students with mobility, organization, and personal-care needs as assigned

Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct expectations

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Prior paraprofessional or classroom aide experience preferred

Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in child development or education a plus

CPR / First Aid certification preferred

Must be willing to complete required fingerprinting before placement

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility for daily substitute roles

Qualified candidates should submit a résumé highlighting experience and willingness to complete school fingerprinting.

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
