About the Job

Competitive Pay : $50-$58 / hr
Shift Days : Monday-Sunday
Shift Time : 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am (3–12-hour shifts)
Start Date : ASAP
Department : Emergency Medical Services
Location : Palo Alto, California
Duration : 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

CA Paramedic License

BLS - Basic Life Support certification

Two to three years of recent paramedic experience

Experience with dispatch systems and communication equipment

A Day in the Life

Respond to patient transfer requests via phone and radio

Coordinate transfers with healthcare facilities and medical staff

Operate multi-line telephone and radio communication systems

Assess patient needs and plan appropriate transfer modes

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Ensure accurate documentation and patient information review
