CT Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting

Valid ARRT certification or equivalent state licensure for CT Technologists

Proficiency in operating CT scanners and performing diagnostic imaging procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient comfort and safety

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results

Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal performance

Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in hospital systems

Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout the imaging process
