Job descriptionOperate overhead cranes proficiently and safely Complete all pre-shift crane operator checklists Manage material storage and retrieval throughout the Rebar Fabrication Department Ensure continuous supply of materials to shearing lines and bending machines Load delivery trucks according to documentation and established procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to all safety practices and policies Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs Operate forklifts safely and efficiently Experience with overhead crane operation (preferred but not required) Forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain Physical stamina to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, walk, twist, and turn as needed for the role Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs Dexterity in handling, positioning, and moving materials Strong verbal communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to safety Basic math skills for inventory management Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
