Description

This role is responsible for taking care of the molds by making sure no scrap is left in the mold, applying mold release to prepare for the next production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean molds and apply mold release agents as needed to prepare for the next production cycle.
  • Understand and communicate quality issues to teams over two-way radios
  • Put inserts on molds as needed
  • Keep molds maintained to reduce scrap
  • Communicate any insert needs as they get low.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (10-hour shifts)
  • Frequent bending, lifting, pulling, and carrying of parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to handle and remove foam products with care.
  • Ability to work in a warm, high-humidity environment near curing ovens and molds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or foam molding is a plus, but no training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with repetitive tasks.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required
  • This role works 4 10-hour shifts (5 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday) with possible OT on Friday.
