Cardiovascular Operating Room (RN) Registered Nurse

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax Medical is hiring an experienced CVOR RN! We are seeking an RN with a minimum of 2years of experience specializing in the CVOR. Our Program is the 9th busiest heart transplant program in the country as of January 2023 and performed a total of 100 transplants (heart and lung) in our cardiac ORs in 2022. We are also in the top 2% in the country for TAVR volume. Sign on Bonus & Relocation Available.

Work Schedule : Full time; Day shift (10hr shifts or 13hr shifts). Must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts.

The CVOR is located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus within the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) for adult cardiac surgery and Inova Women's and Children's Hospital for pediatric / congenital cardiac surgery. The CVORs are state of the art with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR with a total of 7 operating rooms serving all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.
