Local Applicants only, this is an in-office roleJob Summary : The HRIS & Talent Analytics Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and payroll system data, administering ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement projects in the HRIS, and running reports for data analysis.
Job Duties :
- Maintain HRIS system, streamline processes and implement improvements
- Communicate with continuous improvement project teams and HRIS vendor
- Verify new hire data is accurate after onboarding and prior to first payroll
- Maintain electronic files for all HRIS changes and retain all documents in the appropriate location
- Perform audit controls on payroll change forms to ensure appropriate authorization has been obtained
- Terminate employees from HRIS and verify all termination paperwork is complete
- Build and run reports for talent analytics, metrics reporting, and ad-hoc reports
- Ensure the security of the HRIS, create end-user access, and maintain data integrity
- Build EDI Files for data transmission to and from vendors
- Provide HRIS support for the acquisition integration process
- Audit new position codes to ensure correct mapping to workers' comp, EEO, etc.
- Trouble-shoot and resolve HRIS issues
Requirements
Qualifications :
- 1-3 years of experience with HRIS / Payroll systems required
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- High degree of professionalism & ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under time constraints
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Experience with Paylocity Preferred
